Statement of Faith
Statement of Faith of Showers Of Mercy Ministries The doctrinal position of The Showers of Mercy Ministries is summarized in our twelve-article Statement of Faith. We Believe: The Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, to be the inspired Word of God, without error in the original writings, the complete revelation of His will for the salvation of men and the Divine and final authority for Christian faith and life. In one God, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. That Jesus Christ is true God and true man, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He died on the cross, a sacrifice for our sins according to the Scriptures. Further, He arose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, where, at the right hand of the Majesty on High, He is now our High Priest and Advocate. That the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ and, during this age, to convict men, regenerate the believing sinner, and indwell, guide, instruct and empower the believer for godly living and service. NEXT GENERATION (YOUTH) Aims to influence young people and mentoring boys and girls of all ages to discover their own identity and use that identity to further discover the scope of their individual capabilities to impact families, schools, colleges and universities, the community and the world. Through mentorship programs the youth shall be helped to identify their purpose in life and pursue their potential and gifts.

REAL MEN’S MINISTRY – 1Kings2:2- The Flavor Of The Real Man: 1. Real Men Love the Lord their God Real men seek God first in all they do. They love the Lord with all their heart, mind, soul and strength. They honor Him with all they think, say, and do; Deut 6:4-5; Matthew 6:33; Matthew 22:36-38. 2. The Real Men Love their wives as Christ loves the Church who gave Himself for it. They die to self, esteem their wives and others better than themselves, and desire God’s best for them. The Real men take up their cross daily for others; Matt22:36; John 13:34-35; Phil 2:3-4; 1 John 4:7-11. 3. Real Men Obey and Honor their Parents as they believe in first time obedience to their parents. They show a loving respect for their parents and always give them a place of honor in their heart; Ex 20:12; Eph 6:1-3. 4. Real Men Aims To Be Holy and Pure in heart and flee anything that causes to stumble. They make choices daily to keep themselves holy and pure, sanctified (separated) for God. COUPLES MINISTRY: Gen. 2:23-24 This ministry aims to bring Godliness in marriages and establish Marriage Outreaches by the coming together of married couples from all walks of life and have marital teachings and topical discussion sessions, as well as establishing various activities that can be tools used to reach lost souls for Christ. This ministry aims empower couples to live the tasteful marriages of their dreams as we use the word of God as our authority. Marriage enrichment is the art of the primary type of life that is lived by married people with a mind that is focusing to achieve desired goals in their lives. The five main objectives of this marriage are: 1. To promote a mutual commitment to growth in the marital relationship as well as in their relationship with God. 2.
